Our chef and owner, Tim, honed his culinary skills as a Mess Specialist aboard fast-attack submarines during his military career. Now, as a retired veteran, he’s brought his passion for food and hospitality back to his hometown. Alongside his wife, Melanie, he cooks with heart, turning every meal into a labor of love.

At our café, we’re here to keep it simple: delicious food paired with joy, laughter, and a sprinkle of encouragement for our local community. We believe in fellowship that warms the soul—where friends walk in the door and leave as family.

The staff are so friendly and willing to explain how to order if it's your first time. We missed breakfast and were disappointed but then they explained they do make breakfast sandwiches anytime which made our day!

We ordered lunch here for the 1st time today. Philly cheese steak and chips, Caesar wrap and chips, broccoli cheese soup..comes with oyster cravkers and a little refreshing leafy salad with both meals. $28 Everything was very good. Well seasoned. We will be back.

A Fantastic hidden gem that u have yet to be disappointed earing at their food is delicious and they contain some items that you don't see at other spots often or at all like deep dish French toast ,eggs benedict or quiche the service is fantastic and the food always comes out exactly to order and delicious .

The best owners and food! Such a friendly atmosphere where you can tell the locals love to visit. It’s owned by a veteran and I love how he has any vets who come in sign the wall. Delicious breakfast sandwiches and French toast!!

A great Cafe north of Utica in Barnaveld with friendly service and great food served in a timely manner . Great concept for this area . Very good coffee choices . We stopped in for breakfast and had the Waffle with bacon and an egg and Asiago cheese breakfast sandwich with spinach .. both excellent choices . Very nice ambiance with live piano playing holiday music .

A MUST stop if you are passing through. Support local! So much better than fast food. My friends and I had burgers and a honey ham melt with assorted drinks. Everything was top notch, quality, great tasting food. The service was outstanding and the food came out quickly.
One of the best meals I had my entire week of vacation.
This is a gem. Only wish I lived closer. Well done Tim and staff! You made us feel like family😊

Gem of a place.
Small town, country, family owned cafe!
AMAZING ICE COFFEE!!! Which is self serve which I prefer! Make it exactly how ya like it!
Amazing breakfast sandwiches!!!! Probably hands down the best I've ever had!
My brother got an omelet.
This is one of his fav spots.
I love how they have some outdoor seating as well!
The entire staff are amazing and super friendly.
Def worth a stop if you're in the area!

I’ve been saying that I wanted to stop in here and just never got around to it, until today! Walked into a really clean, friendly, wonderfully set up establishment. Someone immediately saw that we looked befuddled and went over the ordering process with us. Food came out fast, and was absolutely delicious! My son ordered the sausage and biscuits with eggs-he struggled to finish it. I’d ordered the Greek bagel-this bagel was the softest bagel I’ve ever had and the toppings were phenomenal. It’s apparent that a lot of love goes into this entire operation. Totally worth checking out!

If you do not go here you're making a huge mistake. Not only is everything on the menu delicious but the owners are fantastic to speak with. I wish I could give them 100 stars. Food is always consistent and the restaurant is very clean. Great job you two!

I would like to give credit where it's due. I am extremely particular when it comes to food. I enjoy quality food and that is exactly what you cam expect here. Super friendly staff and the owners are wonderful people. I've been getting lunches here almost daily for over a year!! I can't say enough about it. If you want good food and a friendly atmosphere, this is for you!!!

I can’t even begin to explain how amazing this cafe is. A friend and I met at the cafe because it was halfway between us, and we were both leaving saying we wish it was in our town instead of a 2 hour drive away. The food was amazing, fresh ingredients, lots of variety of choices. Plus the turnaround time from ordering to our food being delivered was maybe 6 minutes!? I was amazed! The coffee bar (with free refills) had lots of syrup flavors and plenty of options for creamers. We ended up staying and hanging out in their fireplace lounge to chat (we hadn’t seen eachother in a year) and the lovely waitress ended up chatting with us and ironically we both were born and raised in the same small town!

Like I said I can’t even begin to explain how amazing this cafe is!

Good food and a good value. Portions are ample and the daily side is a nice touch. Today was the smoked potato salad which was an option or you could have potato chips instead. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with mayo there were other options for toppings. The club sandwich was ordered by someone in my party and it was nice and thick with an ample amount of turkey on it. Both came with a small salad as well. Service is a combo of self serve where you write down your order and turn that in and being waited on in that your order is brought to your table. We will be back. Thanks for a great lunch today.

The service, Connie, was awesome! The food was delicious. So customizable and fun. We sat and chatted for hours and never felt rushed or ignored! The perfect balance. A must visit or return!

This place is THE BEST!!! You must try it at least once, and I guarantee you'll be back! You're always welcomed as you walk in the door. The decor is super cute. Plenty of basic and unique food choices and it's all delicious!!! This time I tried the Athena (came with potato salad and green salad) It tasted like heaven!!! Oh and super impressed with the coffee also! I tried cannoli...just such a smooth flavor!!! You will not be disappointed!

The food here is ALWAYS fantastic!! If you're not coming for the delicious sausage gravy or the crispy corned beef hash, at least make the journey for their special deep dish french toast creations every Saturday. The special flavor changes weekly, this week's was fruity pebbles but they also have an original blueberry to enjoy daily.

This place is a family favorite! The food is delicious, made to order, and served quickly (which is important with the littles). We are always greeted with a smile, and the place is very clean. I enjoy the self-serve coffee bar, too. Highly recommend!!!

A real gem! The food has that home-made quality and is flavorful and filling! We enjoyed coming here for breakfast two days in a row during our short vacation in the area. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

I wish there was more stars to give this place! By far my favorite place to go eat! The food is always amazing and the customer service matches. Anybody coming through the area this is a must stop. Ordering is a little different but makes the experience fun. The owner/chef, his wife and staff are always very nice and personable. 10/10 recommend!

A wonderful gem in the Adirondack foothills. Very flexible creative chefs that obviously love food and people. Tried something new I never had- a Greek bagel and it was amazing. Coffee was very good as well. If you have not been here your missing out on a great experience and great eats.

Amazing Food!!! Had the corned beef hash special (definitely should be permanently on menu) and it was some of the best that I’ve had in any of my travels. Wife had the breakfast sandwich with croissant and loved it as well. Great atmosphere, super friendly and definitely worth hitting up for tasty breakfast. Might even come back for lunch 😂

An extremely tasty, locally owned breakfast spot! Very friendly staff. The Lovey Dovey omelette was so good - fresh spinach & tomatoes, feta, and ham. Eggs were very fluffy. The bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich was also extremely delicious! We'll definitely be back!

We placed a to-go order while traveling and experienced some of the best hospitality around. The food was out of this world and the service was friendly and helpful. The breakfast sandwich on an asiago bagel was delicious, the turkey sandwich came with dressed greens and a side of tortellini pesto salad, and the grilled chicken salad was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or lunch. They also had a large coffee bar with many different types of sweeteners, flavors, creamers etc. Five stars.

Had breakfast while waiting for my car to be fixed. Clean, friendly, welcoming Cafe with self serve & unlimited coffee bar, amazing variety to the menu. The chef came to my table when he didn't recognize me, and we had a lovely conversation. Every table was full on a Friday at 10am. I had the daily special avocado toast. Free wi-fi as well!

First time going there and we were not disappointed. They did a great job cooking for us and providing a somewhat self service and unique ordering system. The food was great and so was the service. Looking forward to going back again. Anyone traveling through is sure to miss it since its location is very humble, but well worth trying to find and stop for. Don't miss it if you can help it!
